this morning was the great attempt to leave. first, i had my year-end meeting with nancy. i think it went pretty well. then i get home and ben is still asleep! (it's 9:30a at this point) so we finally get packed for nashville and head out at about 10:30. we stop by the store to drop a few things off and then go to get the oil changed in the car. well, that turned into needing to change the transmission fluid too. $150 later, we are finally on the road to nashville. (the car purrs like kitten now though!).
it rained almost the entire way to nashville, but it is a fairly easy drive. we arrived about 5 and went for a run with judson (matt, friend from college). then we grabbed some dinner at a local bar and it was off to the new pornographers concert. they were very good and the venue was really cool.
